First Woman Elee Reeves launches new e-book ‘Mississippi’s Fred the Turtle’

DeKALB, Miss. (WTOK) – First Woman Elee Reeves visited fourth graders at Kemper County Higher Elementary College to launch her new exercise e-book, “Mississippi’s Fred the Turtle.”

Kemper County Higher Elementary is considered one of 5 faculties slated to obtain the preliminary distribution of Reeves’ e-book, funded by a grant from the Casey Basis. The character Fred asks a collection of questions designed to encourage college students to interact in participating and stimulating conversations which can be important to little one growth and problem-solving abilities.

Every e-book will include a pack of crayons to assist Fred full his journey.

The First Woman and her group are at the moment working to establish extra sources of funding in order that Fred the Turtle might be distributed to much more college students throughout the state.

“My group and I had been attempting to determine one thing we may do to profit youngsters throughout the state. We’ve developed this coloring exercise e-book about friendships, being courageous and studying to be assured. It’s a few sea turtle named Fred who travels throughout the state and shines a lightweight on the good issues in our state. It was a labor of affection. We love youngsters and nothing makes me happier than seeing a toddler smile. We positively noticed that at present,” Reeves mentioned.

Fred was impressed by the First Woman’s imaginary childhood pal, and Fisherman Jimmy was impressed by his father.
