On a current episode of his podcast, Joe Budden mentioned he hated Ok-pop sensations BTS and mistakenly assumed they have been from China.

I don’t wish to see [you]…come from the general public and join like Voltron and do all of the 98 diploma strikes. I don’t wish to see any of this shit.
With out saying an excessive amount of about why he doesn’t just like the group, he went on to falsely say that BTS is from China. “I do know they’re massive, I do know it’s China, I don’t wish to see it,” to which his co-host Parks Vallely informed him they have been Korean. “I don’t wanna see Korean-Sync,” Joe mentioned, throwing out one other ’90s boy band reference.
It didn’t take lengthy for the BTS fandom, referred to as the BTS Military, to catch on to Budden’s feedback.
